Matt spent five years in the Actuarial Risk and Quants (ARQ) team at PWC, Cape Town where he led teams in providing audit and consulting services to clients including multinationals and government entities. After his two years at IESE he spent 2017/2018 as an Investment Banker at Deutsche Bank in London where he experienced first hand the importance of diversified investment portfolios. He advised clients (E150m)on strategic review of business and portfolio diversification.

In addition to currently ensuring that the intricacies of Proprietas SA and its international finances and those if its clients are smoothly run Matt is also the CFO and shareholder of highly successful start up- Comparisure where he is responsible for budget setting, financial controls, monthly financial reporting and target setting.

Interests

Matt has completed two Ironman (Port Elizabeth and Lanzarote), and four half Ironman events (SA, Hungary and Spain). In addition he has completed a number of Robben Island swims, triathlons and marathons around the world. Matt is passionate about social responsibility and involved in various community projects, particularly Sakhumzi Children’s Home in Cape Town.
