Noëlien studied ballet and Spanish dancing from a very young age and realized her dream of building a very successful career as a professional ballerina for CAPAB ballet company in the 1980’s.

After suffering a knee injury, she hung up her point shoes and joined SAA as a cabin attendant. She loved travelling internationally, meeting new people and embracing different cultures.

In 1995 she married and became a full-time mother to two daughters. The family moved to Cascais in 2005 where she obtained her Portuguese nationality.

Noëlien´s passion for property led to her establishing a company which focused on the restoration of older properties in Lisbon. She later turned to freelancing in the real estate sector before taking up employment with a company which facilitated applications for the Golden Visa program and provided related property services.

In 2019 Exclusivefolio Lda was established to provide bespoke property and administrative services to South Africans participating in the Golden Visa program. These property services include purchases, sales, property management, refurbishment, interior decoration and project management. These services are enhanced through her access to a network of highly responsive local service providers who all share her commitment to a high standard of service.

Noëlien has extensive experience in the Portuguese property market with a particular expertise in the areas of Lisbon, Cascais, Estoril and Porto. She has established protocols with all leading real estate companies in these regions ensuring her clients of consistent access to a range of properties of the highest quality. She has active affiliations with experienced legal and accounting service providers proficient in supporting Golden Visa applications, property purchases and sales, and related due diligence.

Interests

Noelien has always had a passion for the theatre and performing arts. Since retiring from professional dancing, she has given expression to her passion for movement in yoga, Thai chi and Qigong. Noelien loves interior decorating and especially applying the art of Feng Shui.

She has also been very involved and supportive of her daughters’ passions, the eldest being a musician and the youngest a basketball player in Canada. Living in Portugal she naturally enjoys the beautiful beaches and of course the tasty Portuguese cuisine and wine too.
